Sports Performance at Colorado Academy aids in strength and conditioning development for athletic performance in each student-athlete.
CA's program provides students with a structured plan, designed to enhance strength, speed, mobility, and sport-specific energy systems, while also developing moral and educational characteristics.
The mission of the CA Sports Performance department is to create a health and wellness environment that is designed to challenge the mental and physical limits of students and student-athletes at Colorado Academy.
Relationships are forged through respect, trust, understanding, and commitment to self, school, and community. Students are encouraged to seek and overcome their personal limits, as well as encourage and support peers through their health and wellness journey.
University of Denver Sports Performance and Colorado Academy Sports Performance have partnered to create a one-year, short-term fellowship position, providing an assistant strength and conditioning coach for both programs. This collaboration enhances athletic training for student-athletes at both institutions, fostering development through specialized coaching. This role focuses on developing young coaches in the field by enhancing their programming abilities, networking, and professional development. The initiative underscores our commitment to advancing sports performance and athlete well-being.
